"Invalid device" But worked fine in past

Operating System: XP pro
Burning Software: Nero 6
Anti-virus Software: Norton
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44

Having used Daemon without any problems I did a reinstall for my Windows XP pro. Since that time I can not use Daemon at all as I just get a window saying "Invalid device"

Any suggestions?

P.s My Norton anti virus is version 9.0.0

I believe this has already been fixed - or at least it is for me.

But it had already been working so why should I need a new release, all I've done is reinstalled Windows XP.

Maybe some OS component changed. There was a small glitch in driver that could cause such behaviour.

Ok I found the problem, while not using it I have easy cd and it appears to have caused some conflicts. I deleted t and then had to delete and reinstall, Daemon and Nero 6, all works fine again now
