Installer not working

Burning Software: Nero 5.5
Anti-virus Software: Trend Microdata
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

The installer stops with :
"The Installer was interrupted before DAEMON Tools could be installed...."

In the logfile looks everything fine, until this message:
": DaemonFindRelatedProducts. Return value 3.",
a working installation on an other workstation returns value 1.

What is the problem?

Hmm, i don't have any list of what that error means, but could be that installer don't have permission to file system to check for other instances of D-Tools installed or running, are you logged on as administator? often common problem that people are not!

I'm normal Administrator on this workstation.
The windows installer had until now no problem whatsoever.

Found it:

There was a problem with the DCOM Configuration.
The Default Access Permission wasn't set correct.
