Daemon Tools Restarts My Computer

Operating System: Windows 2000 SP4
Burning Software: None
Anti-virus Software: Norton 2003
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

I've tried installing the latest Daemon Tools, but it restarted my computer at the end. From then on, every time I logged in, it restarted. To solve it, I went into Safe Mode and disabled Daemon Tools through MSConfig. What is the problem? I have minidumps if you want to see them.

You've well known problem with Starforce drivers, check thread about BSOD in SCSIPORT.SYS in common problems and solutions forum.

I'm intending to reinstall Windows anyway, so if I install Daemon Tools before installing any games, will that solve the problem?

Usually you shouldn't encounter any problems with Starforce drivers then.
