Operating System: Windows XP Home SP2
Burning Software: Do not know - ISO Image
Anti-virus Software: AVG
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47
Stupid problem (which I caused myself).
I had mounted an image file (ISO) of a partial download. Mainly just to check the file contents - this worked fine.
The next time I booted, windows hung when loading Fastfat.SYS. Luckily I was able to access Daemon Tools from within safe mode, and unmount the image. Only took me an hour to figure it out.
So, in summary, I know what I was doing was wrong. I would have thought windows would handle a corrupt/truncated file system a bit better.
Maybe automatic remounting images on boot should be an expert option - or perhaps even automatically do a forced unmount after a failed boot.
Anyway, I just thought I should post something so that others are aware of the problem. Thanks for the great software.
