DT 4 un-mounting issue

windows pro sp2
AVG

dt4 installs fine.
i mount any image and it works. if i leave the image mounted and shutdown my computer, upon reboot windows hangs at the loading screen indefinitely. then i have to hard boot it and run "last known good config".

If i unmount the image before i shut down everything works fine on the next reboot. Do i have some wrong settings in the DT4 options or what?

Where is the image located (network share, usb ...)?
Try to disable automount and report if it helps.

The Images are located on my local sata drives.

I've never had this problem when i was using windows xp pro sp1 up till a few days ago when i formated with windows xp pro sp2. with SP1 i'd leave my battlefield 2 and Need for Speed most wanted *.mds files mounted permanently and never had any issues with daemon tools. For some reason windows xp sp2 doesn't like that i leave the images mounted.
