taskbar icon doesn't appear on startup

hi,

For a while back the daemon tools taskbar icon doesn't appear on startup, i tried disabling and enabling the icon option and still doesn't work. If i kill the process and start dt manually it appears as intended, is just a startup problem.

Here is the sptd event error:

Also i found that the taskbar icon disappearance was unrelated, but the sptd error still persists

Ok, What OS and Service Pack are you using then?

I guess he's using windows XP x86... no matter the SP. Icon disapearance is windows related (and not fixed), not DT related. I've got the same problem on one of my OS.
