    After Update of XP or Server 2003 x64 Editions Daemon Tools does not work anymore

    The patch KB914784 for Windows x64 Edition adds some new "kernel patch protection":
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914784
    This protection causes incompatibilities with some programs, including Daemon Tools.


    Please update to SPTD layer 1.25 or higher (latest version recommended) and reinstall SPTD-driver
    to fix the above mentioned problem!

    as mentioned above, the new SPTD-installer is available at our download-section.

    We will also provide soon new version of DaemonTools V4, which contains already new
    SPTD-driver
