    When installing, setup fails to uninstall old version

    USE THIS METHOD AS A LAST RESORT!!!
    1. Click start, run, type regedit, [enter]
    2. Browse to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products
    3. Go through each key and look at ProductName
    4. When you find DAEMON TOOLS, copy the key name (should be something like B3D974E578A49B249AE1E22B82A4454D).
    5. Export then delete this key (click File menu)
    6. Browse to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\UpgradeCodes
    7. Go through each key until you find the key from step 4 in the right pane.
    8. Export then delete this key


    You should now be able to install the newer version of daemon tools.
