No it will not be discontinued. You can choose whether or not to install it (The Adware), It's there for those who would like to support Daemon Tools.
I mean, how hard is it for people to understand how to only uncheck one checkbox to avoid the adware installation.
I mean it's not like we're in first grade, It's simple enough to understand to uncheck the checkbox so the adware is not installed.
People who just go click happy with installer, and don't read about the things thier installing, and how to disable the install of those things, probably already have a Sh!tload of malware/adwae/spyware/viruses on thier pc already
