why would you want to emulate a dongle? I can't imagine another reason as that you don't have the dongle but still want to use the software. this, however, is called crack-talk and not wanted in this forum. so go away!
as a side note: there ARE tools on the net that do emulate dongles on driver level, but these are not to be discussed here!!!
why don't you contact the software company for support then?
I can see why he would ask on this forum. Maybe he could ask the manufacturer to remove the protection or maybe he could ask VMWare to program an emulator (on the manufacturer side, we know this suggestion gets ignored. Copy protection hasn't been removed from recent game CD/DVDs even though consumers have requested game companies to remove it).
He wants emulation to help bypass copy protection. That is what DAEMON Tools does- except only for CDs and DVDs.
Offend is not for me. Maybe my poor english doesn't
help comunication.
My manufacturer is not capable to adjust programs
for us (reseller), so only a little informatic miracle can
solve our problem. We paied for programs and infrastructure
(a lot) and don't need to bypass copy protection.

See my post as a 'suggestion' for future,
Bye

I once read that coding a dongle emulation for Steinberg's Cubase took the coders 1500+hours.
so don't expect anything of this kind in the near future from DT Soft (they got better and more important things to do )
I have a problem on VMware Server farm.
This architecture has many features, but leak
completely of special hardware support.
If you haven't already you should ask in the VMware forums. I'm not sure about VMware Server, but VMware Workstation has great support for virtualizing USB into a VM. I suppose it may not work for your specific dongles, but I know it works for the 2 dongles I have (Aladdin and Rainbow).
