  • BD and HD DVD

I know that BD and HD DVD are brand new technologies and may pose a great challenge (and impracticalities of huge image size). I'm just wondering whether blue laser disc emulation is anywhere in the predictable future of DT?

Of course, but it is simply not on priority list due to low demand.

I second this request because i'm having issues with my LG drive and my graphics card and power dvd software. It's easier to rip the blu ray to a hard drive as an image and and mount.

Could you rip a BD or HD DVD as an iso?

Any update on where it is now on the priority list?

            Of course you can!
There is no problem with anyDVD HD and for excample IMGburn.
But the problem is that PowerDVD disabled the ply from harddisk support of there new Version.
HD DVD can be put into an ISO mounted with Daemontools and played with new Version of PowerDVD.
But BluRay and BluRay+ has AACS mandatory and so PowerDVD dont plays them from mounted ISO.

Would be very usefull for all BluRay fans over the world to can EMULATE AACS in Daemontools, so pls put that Point on your list.

            Thanks a lot!

Does AnyDVD HD not disable AACS? It says it does in the documentation.

It does remove the aacs and the bd+, but the matter is with powerdvd which want it on bluray disc.
