  • Image Catalog, CD/DVD Cover and List view suggestions

Because I despise optical media, I store all my CD/DVD/Blu-rays as isos, and store them on my harddrive like this:

    Name.iso
Name.jpg (a scan of the cover, because some discs are difficult to recognize without an image)

Then I just doubleclick on them to mount and watch/listen/play .

    ...

I think Image Catalog in Daemon Tools needs:

    - DVD/CD Cover images (either automatically generated from a .jpg file with the same file name as the .iso, or that you can assign one picture manually)

This because a small icon is not really enough to help you identify some discs, also it would look fancy with nice covers.

Also some details about size, password protection etc would not hurt

So basically I'm looking for something like this

(yes I know there is a typo there )

That would push me over the edge to buying an Advanced license

DT Pro is supporting icon files (Select image in IC -> Info Panel -> Image icon -> Custom icon -> ".." button.

Info Panel is showing image size and if it is password protected.).
Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot

My trial period ran out so I can't test it now.

But if I remember this correctly it only supported standard icon files?. That's not really what I'm looking for (because then you need to make icons, and also the sizes are then too small)

What I want is the possibility to just load a JPG of any size as a cover/thumbnail image, and then in the info panel side, have it displayed as large as you want

Image Catalog CD/DVD Cover and List view suggestions

          Hi,
Ive been using ammap for a couple of months and I see that in most of case its possible to define a position x, y with two differents ways:
          - Number in pixels
          - Number in percentage

When we define the position por the export Text: Collecting data ... it can be only in pixels. ¿Could it be the position in percentage too?
          Thanks.
