I just bought a copy of Lucasarts' Knights of the Old Republic, and after running their "update" facility, I wasn't able to run the game, as their SecuROM "feature" obviously cheks for virtual CD-drives.
Of course I could just uninstall Daemon Tools, but I use the program to reduce wear and tear on my (original! I'm a collector!) game CD's.
This means that I have an unusable 80$ game sitting on my shelf gathering dust.
Are you up to this, or do I have to uninstall your software while playing this particular game? This would be highly inconvenient. I also do not appreciate the software houses (in this case, Bioware) treating their customers like thieves.
