I had posted this on CDFreaks-Site as comment... I think it fits here too...
It is not only because of StarForce...
it is mainly to do something against blacklisting...
So that blacklisting is not that easy anymore as far as I know... and that it is easier to do something against blacklisting...
And with this change... the functionality of DTools will change too... so no current blacklists will work when v4 is out.... and it will take some time until the find possibilites for blacklistings...
Who knows... if we are lucky... protection manufacturers will not be able to find a way of blacklisting... which can not be changed by the user itself... so that no new dtools version would be needed to fix the blacklisting....
We will see.. time will tell...
If it will also has some fixes for StarForce I don't know.. but someone on CDFreaks reacted with the message... let StarForce be... because it is only malware... that is why there stand not only because of StarForce...
But I think that might also be in DaemonTools v4 then...
That should it be as far as I heard and as I think...
Somebody please correct me... if I am wrong somewhere here...
But probably there will be even more new features... who knows yet?? Time will tell...
you can be sure, it will be heavily discussed when it's out. We don't
want to tell you more about it, except that it is a milestone for us -
and for our users, too. And I mean what I say
