I might be just plain wrong... but don't some copy protection schemes simply detect the dameon tools executable process (name) running and/or the name of the virtual drive being used? If so, would there be a way for you to allow a user configurable mechanism to change the name of the dtools process and device name? I might be talking trash... I'm sure you guys have wracked your brains trying to prevent detection, I guess maybe your driver needs to 'attach' to a specific threadname or something, requiring driver recompile if you change it...
GREAT UTILITY... anyone who uses it should check for updates if they have a problem circumventing copy protection. And if 'current' version donesn't help, that's what these forums are for eh ?
