Auto detect emulation

I was thinking that instead of manually setting the emulation options daemon tools could check the image and automatically set what protections are on the cd and initialize the cd/dvd with the right emulation needed to properly run the cd/dvd (Not sure if it already does that because I've never used the emulation feature of daemon tools since every cd/dvd I've mounted works without having to use any emulation.

Actually, emulation is always chosen automatically for images, the settings are only for less-than-perfect CD-Rs. I don't think it's possible to autodetect the need for emulation because with some CDs it'll work, with others it won't... But that's just a guess, if somebody knows more than I do, please enlighten us
