  • is this redundant?

i extracted the msi package from daemon347.exe

it works even better than the original daemon347.exe (skips some useless steps)

my question is: why dt dont let user download msi package instead of daemon347.exe?
if this is because of the size, why dont compress it?

The .exe contains the EULA, legal Copyright-notices and other IMPORTANT
    stuff (history/changes) and logging-support.

The msi-packages in DL-Archiv are only for those who needs the OLD msi's
    for deinstallation

it disturbes me, that you didn't noticed this obviously reasons - in fact,
    I'm shocked :!:

      msi logging support:

      Logging Options
      /l[i|w|e|a|r|u|c|m|o|p|v|x|+|!|*] <LogFile>
      i - Status messages
      w - Nonfatal warnings
      e - All error messages
a - Start up of actions
      r - Action-specific records
      u - User requests
      c - Initial UI parameters
      m - Out-of-memory or fatal exit information
      o - Out-of-disk-space messages
      p - Terminal properties
      v - Verbose output
      x - Extra debugging information
+ - Append to existing log file
! - Flush each line to the log
      * - Log all information, except for v and x options
      /log <LogFile>
      Equivalent of /l* <LogFile>

msi can contain eula, im not sure about histry/changes
make a custom page for histry?

indeed, and because of the mentioned reasons, we made the installer.
If you're unhappy with it, just use the msi-package, but by default, we
insist to use the package "as-is".

BTW, this is the last version that uses msi-packages, the next one contains
        completely new installer, too
