  • A question which perhaps could end in a suggestion

    Hi,

I'm a user of EzbSystems' products (ultraiso, softdisc, bootdisc).
One of their tool, softdisc, is bundled with the latest official Daemon tool version.
With it we can handle most image formats than Ultraiso can handle.
But since few months they began to support the image formats from winimage, another tool I'm a user of.
Currently the 3.47 version of Daemon does not work with those image types.
I would like to know if the Daemon 4.x will be able to, or do I have to add it as a suggestion ?
And for the developper to acomodate with Daemon, what will he have to do ?
    Greetings,

I'm not aware of what format(s) you're talking about. You can try changing the extension of the biggest image file to *.ISO and mount this file in DAEMON Tools.

Essentially I thinking about .ima file format..
It is a format which is also recognized by Ultraiso...
But it is not possible to only rename the file, this format is a format which is not based on the iso one.
IF the developper wants to make its software compliant with daemon tools and develop a plugin, what should he have to do ?
      Greetings,

The developer I'm talking about, Gilles Vollant, the developer of Winimage, already sent you a request last year.
I recently contacted him for anything else, and he told me he has never received a response from you.
Should I ask him to contact you again ?

Note : on the forum each time I send a message the checkbox "Notify me when a reply is posted" is checked but I never receive a notification, why ?
          Greetings,
