most new computers will have a copy of nero/something similiar, so you are able to burn your images on cd/dvd and mount it from there.
By the way: even Windows XP has an implemented burning function (OK - not a good one but its working).
Implementing a burning function will take some time and it's not what daemon tools is used for. If you need a burning application to make 1:1 copies of older protected games just go ahead and buy a copy of alcohol 120%. This is also using dt 347 for there emulation and have included a burning engine.
