Error 25030 means:
You MUST reboot before re-installation.

But as you're running on vista, who knows what resolution to try.

Running Vista 5456 and keep getting the 25030 error with DT 3.33. Have succesfully installed SPTD 1.25 but get the same error with and without latest SPTD installed.

No amount of rebooting helps.

Any ideas?

Reinstall Vista and do not install any DAEMON Tools version besides 3.33. Failed installs of other versions seem to interfere.

1: Download SPTD-driver 1.25.
2: Install it (sptdinst_x86.exe add)
3: Reboot
4: Remove it (sptdinst_x86.exe remove)
5: Install D-Tools 3.33

I played around with sptd1.25 and dt3.33!

Intalling or uninstalling sptd 1.25 didn't work in my case!

What i did:

-After error in v3.33
-Uninstall SCSIWOLF controller from device manager(which should be with Exclamation mark!)
-Reboot the pc
-After reboot, Dt3.33 icon appeared on desktop and was installed!

Also:

After reboot if still don't work... just reinstall

With SPTD 1.25 you must install DT 4.03.
Never try to install 3.xx versions on Vista.

This is why i told that its not working anyway!

Ive just reinstalled vista 32bit after a blue screen problem after 3.02 install.
Ive just downloaded and installed the new v.4 of daemon tools and when i go to mount a image i get a error report.
"Unable to mount image.Invalid TOC specified."
The file im mounting isnt a TOC file though its a mdf, and others are bins.
Anyone had similar problems and know how to solve it, ive tried 3.33 and that had a error at end of install so that didnt work.

You are using DAEMON Tools 4.03HE under Vista Beta 2? What Build # of Vista are you using? Or are you using DAEMON Tools 3.xx ?

Got the exact same error toc.... with 3.33!
Logic because 3.33 doesn't recognise mds properly!

Maybe you had the scsi controller of 3.33 with the install of 4.??

4.03 with 1.25, 4.03 with 1.24 or one of the 3.33 installs ?

Untill my latest testing! from today!

After a fresh install of 5456, simply install 3.33 and nothing else!(No sptd 1.25 because its build for the 4.xx versions) Trust me!

As for the DT4.03HE working on vista... We are getting closer but NOT YET WORKING. Be patient as i feel it working very soon with latest DT.

PS:At Present, Daemon tools 4.03HE installs on vista but doesn't work yet (Scsi controller blocked by kernel error!)

TOC = Table Of Contents. The section of the "disc" that tells the OS where all the files are located. It has nothing to do with the format of the image.
