Image still mounted after uninstall

I'm having a problem with deamon tools (else I wouldn't post here :P )
I uninstalled the latest version of deamon tools while having an image mounted. Now the problem is that the drive still exists and the image is still loading in. I can eject (unmount) the image but after a reboot it's there again. Also removing the drive from the device list won't help much since it will reappear after a fresh boot. Can someone please help me out with this by posting a link to the solution or something?
