  • Kernal Debugger issue.

After installing Daemon Tools I was asked to disable the debugger, I did, and since then whenever I reboot or turn on the computer it frequently crashes and I must restart several times. Is there any way to fix this? Perhaps re-enabling the debugger? The computer still works fine but it's very frustrating when it dosen't want to start properly. I usually get the "A recent hardware change may have happened causing the problem yadda yadda" page.

Which kernel debugger did you disable? Normal users don't have kernel debuggers installed.
If you've minidump (in Windows\Minidump folder) related to such crash, send newest file to support@daemon-tools.cc with reference to this thread.

Probably caused by exportit.sys - do you know where that comes from?

A quick Google search shows that it's probably part of some Kodak software.

Well, that came pre-installed on the computer and my family are the ones that still use it. In order to fix the problem would I have to remove Kodak?
