Cant unistall DT, please I need help

    Cant unistall DT, please I need help

    I read all the older topics on it, yet, I cant unistall it, I get "Setup cannot validate installation".

    I managed to delete the Spyd.sys and some of the associated reg keys, but many others cant be either deleted or re-named.

    could you help me please??

      I did as it was written.

      Deleted everything manually, included the SYS file that was mentioned there...

      Now, guess what, I can reinstall DT!

      What should I do??

          I tried to re-install the latest DT and I got:

          "Failed to open config Key"


          How can I solve this?

            Did you reboot after removal of SPTD layer (sptd.sys), i.e. before re-installation attempt?

              I didnt remove it yet, as on the sticky there was written that it could have been used by other applications, so I feared to blow up the system...

              So, should I delete it?

              Sorry if Im wasting your time, but Im not really "computer knowledgeable"...

                You're re-installing it anyway, so you can delete/remove it now.

                  Deleted the file, rebooted and successfully installed DT.
                  However, when I try to run it I get the following error message:

                  Virtual SCSI Driver not detected....

                  What should I do??
