I have just checked my device manager and the scsi/raid host controller has a yellow exclamation mark next to it and when i go into properties this is what it says:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.
You need to restart your computer before the changes you made to this device will take affect.
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
Also I have a yellow exclamation mark next to VAXSCSI controller and the details say the same as above, any ideas ?

I just went through all that was suggested in the whole post. There was nothing in the error messages pertaining to D.T.-SCSI or SPDT.
After reviewing my hardware profile I discovered my SCSI/RAID controller had a yellow exclamation. It was a code 12. The conflict was -
Interrupt Request 00 used by:
System timer
Standard PC
I can't seem to change the irq. Any suggestions?
DT ver 4.06
WinXP SP2
I have not been able to get DT to run at all since I upgraded to WinXP. I used to run 2000 and never had any problems. I'm not sure what ver I ran then, but I downloaded 4.03 when I first Installed WinXP. The new ver has only the invalid device error code.
