I recently upgraded from Windows 200 Professional to Windows XP Professional SP2, now i didnt uninstall Daemon Tools prior to the upgrade because my copy of Win 2K was faulty. Now when Win XP loads, I get a error message stating I cannot start the deal, STDP 1.28 or something close,... and I cannot unistall it with the uninstall program. Is there a way I can remove that installation so my new installation works without problems? Any help is greatly appreciated. BTW, i have tried uninstalling it manually as the FAQ describes, but I can't get rid of that message saying failed to load...
