using daemon drive before booting windows

hi,
i needed to flash my dvd drive to update the firmware but my drives dont burn and i cant make a floppy. is it possible to have daemon virtual drive act like a real drive with a cd in it? when there is an actual disc in the drive the computer reads it before starting windows; is it possible for a virtual drive to load up a file like that?

daemon tools is a windows only device so windows needs to be loaded up for it to work (at all)
