What I want to do is have a compact flash chip in a cf to ide converter with the bootsrap code on, so it looks like a DVD/CD rom drive and have windows xp on so I can plug it in to any pc and do a complete install from this as my mate does PC repairs and he says that he spends a lot of his time doing re-installs at computer fairs.
I am not interested in a hooky version installation as it will be a genuine version as the case has a valid sticker on it, so I want the install to go as normal ie stop for the serial number entry and a chance to load raid or sata drivers or better still have an extended driver database in the chip.
