DT Pro, New to creating game images

There are a few things I'm not sure how to do, mainly because I've never made an image myself before:

First game I plan on making an image of is F.E.A.R. Gold Edition (one disc).

Can I have DT Pro make the image into an ISO instead of .mds? How?

Should I check the box for 'compress image data'? Why/why not?

What type of disc profile should I select for a game? Data disc? DVD-Video?

Second question: It is your choice. This feature makes your image smaller.
Third question: Securom new. Before you start the game use Y.A.S.U.

The ISO format can not contain protection data, therefore you need mds/mdf.

Which drive did you use? Try an other drive for extracting dpm or extract dpm with a lower speed.

Okay, could someone give me a step-by-step on how to play the game with the ISO using YASU & DT?

I've tried it, but it says the game disc could not be authenticated. I was able to create an ISO of FEAR Gold Edition perfectly using the securom new profile with my other drive & lowering the speed as suggested.
