  • Where are settings stored?

    Id like to save my dt settings (number of drives, selected options & emulations, used drive-letters and so on)...

    but I see no registry entry, no .ini, nothing in \appdata\ ...

    so where das dt store its settings?

    In Macrovision headquaters.
    Or did we move it to Sony ... I'm not exactly sure atm.

      Now I know where that undeleteable registry key comes from in HKCU/Software/SecuROM

      But seriously, there really is a strange key there called '!CAUTION! NEVER DELETE OR CHANGE ANY KEY'. Can't delete it, can't rename it and can't change permissions for it. Weird stuff.

        You can delete that key with RegDelNull

        Enter regdelnull hkcu -s in command-line, then choose to delete
        Same key is also present in HKEY_USERS -> regdelnull hku -s

        Key will be created again at the next start of a Securom application.

              There is no such possibility by altering registry.
              You can try BTEWin though, try a search.

                  I cant understand this Programm - just tried to run via BTEWin Commandpromt...

                  "Daemonlibrary path" -> Success
                  "Daemondrives 2" -> Failure, DT Control Library could not be loaded?!
