driver version mismatch error

hi,
after reinstalling windows xp profesional i had this problem when reinstalling daemon:

after doing that "sptdinst thingie" in safe mode i reinstalled Daemon (daemon4091-x86.exe) with succes but i get an error "driver version mismatch" when starting the program
so i searched for this problem on the net and i stumbled on this link:

but the problem is i don't understand most things the people are talking about in this thread so i'm kinda stuck here

strange, last night i shut my pc & now instead of that 'driver version error' i suddenly get "Virtual scsi driver not detected":s
