DAEMON Tools IRC Server & Channel

Hello,

to release the mods a bit, copybase opened an IRC Server to provide support for copying-related stuff like DAEMON Tools, YASU etc. (IRC is primary a chat protocol).

You can join it by using a tool like XChat, mIRC or Miranda IM (and many more).

The server address is irc.copybase.org, Port 6667 (SSL 6601). NickServ and other services are available.

The DT-related channel is called #dt. You can join it by typing /join #dt (very simple).

um die Moderatoren bzw. Supporter hier etwas zu entlasten, haben wir uns entschieden, einen IRC-Server anzubieten. IRC ist in erster Linie ein Chat-Protokoll.

Um dorthin zu gelangen, benötigt man eine IRC-Client-Software wie mIRC, XChat oder Miranda IM, es gibt aber auch viele weitere.

Der DAEMON-Tools-Channel ist unter #dt zu finden. Um dort einzutreten, genügt die Eingabe und Bestätigung von /join #dt (eigentlich nicht weiter problematisch).

How about different channels for English and German?

Most of the German users are able to read & write English. So everybody is free to write English or German.
