Windows Autoplay

My problem is pretty simple and i have tried doing several searches on the topic, all leading to broken links or solutions that don't work for me.

I installed the latest daemon tools everything works fine no issues but the windows Autoplay is partially disabled. If i insert a blank DVD/CD it wont display the Autoplay box. I just simply want to revert the Autoplay function back to the way it was before i installed daemon tools.

I'm running Vista Ultimate if that helps at all.

This seems to be a general problem and has nothing to do with DT, so far my understanding of this issue is. I've had it myself but hadn't any luck to fix it. The autoplay configuration is like it should be but the autoplay sometimes works and sometimes not. I wasn't able to make it work again. Also there was no pattern for which CDs it works. After I had to reinstall the PC - up to now - it's back and works. So before reinstalling I've really tried to find a way to repair it but there isn't much info about that.
