I've had some of the problems of all the previous posts, and I've even gotten the solutions to work. Sort of.
I tried to intall 4.10, which caused the SPTD loop, I guess. It just would not go past the Windows loading screen. So I went into safe mode and I pressed escape to stop the SPTD loading. Then I did the registry thing and did a system restore. The system worked, until I tried to install a image using Daemon, and kept getting MSI errors. I could not uninstall Company of Heroes or install the windows uninstall fix utility.
So I restarted. The loop started all over again. This time, though, Windows restarts after clicking escape for the sptd prompt. I can't get into the windows recovery console, or even to reinstall windows, because when booting from the CD it freezes on "Starting Windows".
What can I do differently?
