System doesn't hibernate, standby, powerdown with dt 4.10 installed

DTools works great, images mount, drives show, and generally everything works...I just have one issue with it.

after installing it (4.10) my system doesn't let me hibernate, standby or powerdown with the windows software. clicking on start->turn off computer-> standby/hibernate/turn off/restart
doesn't have any effect on my system.

specs:

dt 4.10
sptd 1.50

winxp pro sp 2 with all updates
P4 2.8 Ghz hyperthread
1GB Ram
320GB SATA 300 Seagate
Asus P4P800 SE motherboard bios 1012.001

fixed

uninstalled dtools and installed another free virtual drive emulator.
it had the same problem.

fixed it by reinstalling a on-the-fly dictionary translator that was having problems with my system and it started working fine.
