Has anyone been able to run Call of Duty? I've made a perfect 1:1 copy, mounted the image and tried all different types of emulations and drive letters. I installed it from the same drive i'm mounting to. Anyone have any thoughts?

THis game is protected by sd 3.1, which blacklists dtools atm.

Is there any way around this blacklist or any other programs that I can use?

I managed to install the game, but the game had errors and crashed a lot. Solved by copying the .pak files from the main\ directory on both CDs into the installation dir.
Use WinISO or another ISO extraction program.

I made a working 1:1 copy from my CD with Alcohol 120%, and I have no problems what so ever running it from a Daemon virtual drive. Extracting an image successfully seems to be very hardware dependent.

I used a LITEON 48125S drive to make mine.

Daemon Tools 3.41 is a must.

Make image with alcohol 120%, standard safedisc 2 profile + read subchannel.

It may take a while, depending on your hardware. Worst case scenario is that your drive can't make a 1:1 copy. Try it out first though.

Just tried 120Alcohol mounting with it, and 3.41 deamon no luck.

I will try a few more things "sigh".

Strange, I got it to work easily.

Make sure you've got a custom Drive name, and all emualtions are enabled.

If that doesn't work, try ripping the CD with CloneCD (I used 4.2.0.2);

and mounting the .cue file (the .ccd file doesn't work, see my post: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/viewtopic.php?t=1743).

hello, How much was your speed of reading from the original cd??? i used a liteon sohr 5239v, but i don't succeded for this protection..What cd burner advised me x safedisc 3. xx and 4.xx?? also dvd!! thanks at all!! bye bye!
