DT Lite 4.12 Causes Extremely Slow Shutdown

As the title suggests, in XP SP2, I have terribly long restart/shutdown times that I believe started with 4.11 (can't recall exactly).

If I exit the DT systray icon I have super fast (normal) reboots and shutdowns. If I disable that icon from auto starting, my virtual drives forget what discs were in them on restart.

Kind of a bummer. I don't have the panel or anything else installed. No emulation is checked and only autostart and secure mode are ticked in the options.

Help is of course appreciated.

Do you get any error messages in the Event Viewer?

Well, after checking the event viewer (which I most certainly should have done in the first place), I see that the culprit is Diskeeper 2008.

I just tested my shut down with the dkservice disabled and that seemed to be the issue.

I must have gotten a bit zealous in disabling things during my initial testing and got confused. My apologies, I will lay off the pipe when troubleshooting in the future.
