    SPTD.SYS Problems

    I know ther's other threads about the sptd.sys, but none of them seem to desribe how to fix my problem.. i found this thread:

    but I can't boot windows so i can fix the problem from there, I can't boot in safemode and fix the problem there and disabling the SPTD.SYS in recovery console with the xp cd dosen't woork either.. How do I fix the problem??

    Well, what actually IS your problem?
    What did you do to disable SPTD in recovery console, why do you think it didn't work? Maybe your problem is not SPTD related at all.
