DT installer not a valid Win32 application?

I run Vista Home premium, and whenever I try to install Daemon Tools v4.12.1 Lite, an error message saying that the file "is not a valid Win32 application."
Is there any way to correct this problem?

well, check your download, usually the 'is not a win32 application' means its a damaged file... alternatively it could be that you downloaded the 64 bit version and tried installing it in a 32 bit os...

more information helps, but it does sound like a bad download...
