After searching the forums, and reading all the posts and trying various solutions I still seem to get error 10001 when trying to install Daemon tools 4.12.
Things I have done:
Turned off Windows Defender
Turned of Trend Micro Internet Security
Windows Security Alerts are off
I belive I do not have any other security software running. I downloaded Daemon Tools 4.12 from this site also.
I am running Vista Business SP1
Hope this is enough info to get this problem solved.
