Daemon Tools install hands DVD drive

When I install Daemon Tools one of my two DVD drives hands - refuses to open / operate normally. UninstallingDaemon Tools returns oth DVD drives to normal.

Installing "Elaborate Bytes / Virtual CloneDrive" - simple DVD emulation drive - lets me use both DVD drives normally along with creating a third basic emulation DVD drive.

Earlier Daemon Tools software used to work fine. Guess it's a matter of finding the latest version that worked fine before my DVD drive peration was interferred with.
