Help please

I know this is supposed to be easy but if you consider I was born when tv's was not even a dream and radios needed about 5 minutes to warm up and start working you might excuse me. I have this Command and Conquer game that I would loike to mount a image and I dont know how at all. I would really apreciate if one of you clever ones from this modern age will explain it in simple terms.I have read some help stuff but it tells you how to mount a image but it does not tell me which image. Please send a reply to my E mail if this is not the right place.

You already have an image? If yes, please tell us which format (e. g. CNC3.mds) and how you created that image.
