dvd drive locks explorer

ok, i used to use daemon tools on vista 64, but for unrelated reasons i was forced to reinstall. now, whenever i install daemon tools, the physical dvd drive locks explorer. removing daemon tools doesnt help to fix the problem, and its kind of difficult to do anything with a dvd drive that locks ALL of explorer. the virtual drives work perfectly, and i have tried different versions of daemon tools, and have to reinstall each time.

removing daemon tools doesnt help to fix the problem,

ok now, turned off autoplay.

works properly now.

i dont think sptd is removed when you remove daemon tools actually, so my question wasn't a stupid one
