Mounting .iso audio cd image

    Mounting .iso audio cd image

    hi,

    I'm using DT Lite 4.30.3 and found out that DT cannot mount my audio cd iso image if the audio cd has no CD-TEXT info

    But DT works well with any audiocd .nrg images

    how can i mount audio cd iso images with DT?

    ISO is no adequate image format for Audio CDs - no matter whether with/without CD-TEXT.

      despite of the .iso limitation, I managed to image 1 and only one mountable .iso audiocd image using imgburn. It's from Charlotte Church album "Voice of an Angel" and it contains cd-text info

      the results are 3 files: .cue .iso and .cdt

      However DT can't mount the iso directly, but the .cue instead

      So, this makes me wonder, what makes this kind of .iso mountable?

        In principle you can mount any ISO - or virtually any file, no matter whether the content can be accessed or not.

        I just had a look at the ImgBurn output.
        These are no cooked (2048 bytes) ISOs, but of course you still have to mount the cue file to get the track info.

        e.g. in nrg Images the track infos are stored in the main image file itself,
        not in an additional descriptor file like cue or mds.
