Refuses To Open Program

After installation of DT Lite, the shortcut's and .exe all seem to not work at all. Clicking on them makes it appear to load for a second, then it fades and its like nothing happened. I installed and uninstalled multiple times with the same results. (is running on Vista)

Is there a patch or something I should be looking for, or did I miss a sticky about this?
