Newbie question - tool won't open or open files ?

Operating System: XP
Burning Software: Don't have
Anti-virus Software: Norton AntiVirus 2003
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.41

I am a newby so please be patient ! Just downloaded Dameon Tools 3.41 and and installed (went ok) but when I double click on the desktop shortcut nothing happens... I right click on the task bar, and when I try to mount the file, it wants to open the file not select it for mounting...

What am I doing wrong ??

Nothing, that's a standard Windows dialog, so it's "open" just "open" the image you want to mount in order to mount it

Didn't help..

My image was made by a trial copy of virtual cd, is that the problem ?

Daemon tools doesn't support virtual cd images atm.
