mounting ISO files form RAID5

Hello everybody,

I hope you can shed some insight into my recent problem...

Till now I never had problems wit DT, but now I switched to a 4TB RAID5 as main data storage.

When I tried to mount the latest iso files I get an error message when clicking on the mounted drive.

The iso file itself is 100% ok, I can extract it etc.

I copied the iso file to another single drive, from there it works. I copied the file to a RAID1 unit (300GB) on the same controller and it works as well.

I am using DT 4.30 Pro Test now (Lite version didnt work either).

Can you give me a clue?

PS: Now for the weirdest part... I tried 2 or 3 recently downloaded isos with no luck (they worked on the other drives). BUT a 2 year old iso worked also form the raid...

Please specify full DTPro version number.
Is it 4.30.0303 or 4.30.0304 or etc.?

The problem was with early versions of DTLite and DTPro on raid with sector size more than 2k. More likely your raid has sector size 4k and it is the problem.
The latest DTPro 4.30.0304 has the fix for this problem, please check it.

How can I see the sector size? Sorry, I am new to the RAID system.

How can I see the sector size?

Run cmd.exe and start "chkdsk x:" from it ("x" should be your RAID drive letter). When disk check completes the disk summary info will be displayed and there will be "xxx bytes in each allocation unit." in the third line from the end. That's the cluster size - the thing you need to find out.
