.mdf without .mds

Hi.
I have DT Lite 4.30.4. When I am trying to mount
.mdf image(without .mds) it shows a message
"Unable to mount image. Inable to access image file".
But on older version(4.08) everything works fine.
I tried to change any possible options but without success.
Is it possible to mount .mdf image without .mds file using
version 4.30.4 or it will be better to use older version?

where is you MDS or from where you have the MDF File?
When you have no MDS file why you not dump a new image?

No problem here with 4.30.4 when mounting a MDF.

Did you test the same image in 4.08 and 4.30.4 ?
How was the image created, and where is it located ?
Also tested other images ?

problems MDF support in Daemon tools v3.40

I can confirm.
Loading mdf files fails with
"Unable to mount image. Unable to access image file".

Vista Ultimate Sp2
Daemon tools Lite v3.40.4 + SPTD v1.58
No Antivirs.

No spaces in path, etc. I always get the same error. ISo files load OK.

There is a problems with this version. In a virtual machine with XP and Daemon Tool v3.47 (older 2004) mdfs load without problems.

I confirm - the problem exist!

My friend use DT v4.30.3 but I was updated up to 4.30.4(.0027). We tried to mount same image (absolute identical) on same mashines (same CPU, MB, Video, OS etc), but he can open mdf without mds, but I can't do it. The error still say some like this: "Cant mount image. No acces to image file" (translated from russian version)

Please, correct this bug.

You can still use DT of v4.30.3 version... its ok, and have no problems with mdf.

To beta-testers:
Do comparation between v4.30.3 and v4.30.4... May be its will be shortly way to cerrect bug. Older version still work. And another one thing: please, make a *.mdf filter at file-type combobox in "open-image dialog" window.
