daemon tools Unable to add adapter device problem 39

I've tried several times to install and then run Daemon tools but evertime i try to open the program i get this error message,

"daemon tools Unable to add adapter device problem 39"

Normally I would just hunt down a solution on a forum such as this one but for some reason I can't seem to find one. Can anyone put a finger on this probelm. Thanks in advance.

There seems to be a problem with loading the driver. Please check filter drivers, probably some buggy filter driver prevents loading of Daemon Tools driver.
Also check system eventlog regarding error messages of SPTD and Daemon Tools driver (some random driver name); best would be to export eventlog and send our support by mail with reference to this thread.
