daemon tools with server 2003

Hi i have a windows 2003 sp2 box that i have downloaded some dvd .iso images onto.

Given that this is an important production server i would like to know the stability/likelihood of issues when i create a virtual drive to mount the iso?

Is daemon tools even compatible with server 2003sp2?

I know it has issues with vista and windows 7.
