vista home premium 64bit installation problem

Did you get DAEMON Tools shortcut on your desktop?
Did you installed any old version before install the latest DTLite 4.30.4?
Just try to search "daemon.exe" through all your drives.

this is a weird one... i'm not getting any kind of error, but when i install dtlite from the site and reboot... it's simply not there. can't find it anywhere in program files or on the entire harddrive.
it's on a brand new hp pavillion dv7 notebook. not really sure what else to try...

I have the same issue with the same computer and software. I would download the program and then couldn't find it. It would tell me it was already installed but never found it. I would remove it then reinstall and still am unable to find.
